Environmental protection concerns us all
We want to reduce the negative impact on our environment through the careful extraction and processing of raw materials, the improvement of the CO2 balance through more effective procurement and transport distribution, including at our own location, and through the sensible use of packaging materials.
We focus on reducing CO2 emissions by shortening supply chains and on the resource-saving use of the most commonly used raw material, wood.
When selecting our external suppliers, we pay close attention to ensuring that they are environmentally friendly and that they do not use any chemicals when processing their products. We attach great importance to ensuring that neither tropical wood nor other protected natural resources are taken from nature in order to minimize any impact on the environment and people.
We only work with selected partners and suppliers. Our own branded products, as well as those that we sell in cooperation, come from certified companies that pay attention to natural processing and avoid environmentally harmful chemicals.
certifications for wood
Two certificates stipulate strict rules for the management of forests. We pay particular attention to these criteria during production and processing of pure wood products and label products with the relevant seal.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) stands for the global promotion of environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management.
With the wide range of wood products from the Heizfuxx® brand, which bear the FSC® label, consumers are opting for careful use of forest resources. This helps to ensure that forests can be preserved in the long term.
To ensure the sustainability of our products, we personally visit the manufacturer before launching a product and check not only the origin of the raw materials but also the production process.
In this way, we ensure that our manufacturers produce in accordance with the legal guidelines that guarantee the quality of our products.

PEFC™ is the largest institution for ensuring and marketing sustainable forest management through an independent certification system.
Forest certification according to PEFC™ standards is based on very strict guidelines for the sustainable management of forests. This management is monitored by competent and independent organizations.
If a product made of wood bears the PEFC™ seal, this means that the entire product manufacturing process - from the raw material to the finished product - is certified and monitored by independent auditors. Choosing a product with the PEFC™ seal is therefore a blessing for the forest!

Standards and guidelines for wood pellets
With the introduction of the quality criteria for pellets in Europe (DIN EN 14961-2) and in order to achieve an internationally uniform standard, country-specific standards and the purely European standard were replaced by DIN EN ISO 17225-2. When selecting our producers, we therefore pay close attention to compliance with these guidelines.
This is a certificate that manufacturers and retailers are allowed to use as soon as the test criteria go beyond DIN EN ISO 17225-2 and has been in effect since 2002. The ENplus seal combines strict and comprehensive quality assurance throughout the entire supply chain with the product requirements of DIN EN ISO 17225-2.

The quality standards according to DINplus, which was introduced in 2010 by the German Pellet Institute GmbH (DEPI), are included in the pan-European standard EN 14961-2, which was developed later. The main feature of this standard is the inclusion of test criteria for the entire production and supply chain.
