As a Senior PHP Developer (Symfony), you will help shape the technical platform of PALIGO.com, our digital marketplace for sustainable pallet logistics. Together with our team, you will drive the digitalization and scalability of our e-commerce architecture, making a direct contribution to greater efficiency, transparency, and sustainability across an entire industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Devel​opment and further enhancement of our technology stack using Symfony
  • Design and optimization of API interfaces for partner and customer systems
  • Integration of ERP and payment systems
  • ​Responsibility for sub-projects – from conception to rollout
  • Ensuring code quality, test coverage, and clean architecture
  • Mentoring junior developers and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team

What You Bring to the Table
Must-have

  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing with Symfony (≥5)
  • Solid knowledge of PHP 7/8, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), headless architectures, and unit testing
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and agile methodologies

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplace environments, or other transaction-based businesses
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Experience with containerization using Docker/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
